Introducing PegAssist, a new web tool for Prime editing!

For those itching to try the latest CRISPR genome editing technology, Marilyn Steyert, Ryan Richardson, Corey Flynn and co. have put together an open web tool (and soon-to-be-available plasmid set) to design and construct Prime editing reagents.

Prime editing, developed by the Liu Lab (Anzalone et al. Nature 2019), enables “search-and-replace genome editing” using a Cas9 and Reverse Transcriptase fusion and hybrid pegRNA. The PegAssist web app guides you through pegRNA design for your favorite genome mutation. Help us beta test PegAssist and let us know how to make it better!
